The castle in brief ...
This castle of the 13th and 14th centuries overlooks the valley of the Garonne. Royal Fortress and then residence of presidents of the parliament of Bordeaux, It fell into ruins after the fire during the "Fronde" in the 17th century. Today , it stands with its high silhouette of its dungeon above its ramparts and provides beautiful medieval animations as well as meals...
Open every day (except on 25 th of December and 1st of January). from 14h00 to 18h30 and during the school holidays from 9h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 18h30.
